How To Do The Labs
If you've signed up for one of Aaron Maxwell's classes in Python programming through O'Reilly/Safari, please read on. This page prepares you to do the programming exercises - called "labs" - which form a key part of each course.
NOTE: For support, contact email@example.com.
Step One: Intro Video
Step Two: Exercise
Now it's time to practice. Download the Labs.zip file below:Labs.zip
Once you have the file, unzip and choose either "py2" or "py3",
whichever version of Python you will use for the class (but see note
helloworld.py just like the video
demonstrates, and then do
your own. Use the solutions if you need to give yourself a hint.
- Not all classes support both versions; some classes are Python 3 only. Check the description of the course you've signed up for.
- For the "Pythonic OOP" class, you only have to complete
hello.py. Start also on
hello_extra.py, but if you have trouble because you don't know how to work with classes yet, don't worry. That's what the class teaches you how to do.
